Asesoftware, Nov 21-22, 2008.
PITTSBURGH, USA - November 24, 2008 -- Dr. Mark Paulk, lead author on the SEI's Software CMM™ and a senior researcher at Carnegie Mellon's Center for IT Service Qualification (ITSqc ™) conducted a 2-day executive seminar on Mature Software Project Management to industry professionals in Bogota, Colombia, on Nov 21-22, 2008. The seminar was well attended by around 100 participants from the industry and academia in Colombia.
The event, organized by iCarnegie in collaboration with Asesoftware, one of the leading training companies in Colombia, is part of a four-course suite in software process improvement set to be delivered over the next few months.
The goal of this series of workshops is to promote software process improvement in Latin America and provide hands-on practical knowledge to organizations aspiring to develop software using industry best practices.
Dr. Paulk is a noted international speaker who has published extensively on the topics of software process improvement and the Capability Maturity Model. He is a senior member of IEEE, a reviewer for over 20 international publications, and a keynote speaker at software and quality conferences worldwide.
